In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
Alappuzha (Kerala) - A court here Tuesday granted bail to two officials on board the Singapore-based vessel Prabhu Daya which hit a fishing boat off the coast here March 1 leading to the death of five fishermen.
The two who secured bail were Virendra Kumar Chauhan and Prasobh Sugathan, who were remanded to judicial custody last month after being arrested by the Kerala Police.
The Alappuzha principal sessions court granted bail to the two on executing two sureties of Rs.5 lakh each.
The Prabhu Daya, which did not report the mishap, was identified by authorities and was asked to report at the Chennai port, following which three officials were taken into custody and were remanded.
On April 3, the captain of the vessel Gordon Charles Pereira had secured bail.
