New Delhi - The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till noon over issues like the granting of statehood for the Telangana region, Naxal issue and defence-related scams.

As soon as the second half of the Budget session resumed, opposition members raised anti-government slogans over the Telangana statehood issue.

Opposition lawmakers also demanded an explanation from the government on the Naxal issue and defence-related scams.

With the opposition not willing to relent, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the proceedings till noon.

In the Rajya Sabha, proceedings were limited to administering oaths to new members.
