Sachin takes oath as Rajya Sabha member

New Delhi - Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who was nominated to Rajya Sabha on April 27, Monday took oath as a Rajya Sabha member.

Sachin took oath in the chamber of Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari.

He was accompanied by his wife Anjali Tendulkar.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Shukla, Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office V. Narayanawamy and a few other leaders were also present on the occasion.
