In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
Poonch - The Indian Army on Thursday arrested a Pakistani soldier near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch District.
According to reports, the soldier, identified as Arif Ali, belongs to the 25 Frontier Force of the Pakistani Army.
The Pakistani soldier, who was arrested at around 6 a.m. today, is being interrogated.
The Indian Army personnel seized two SIM cards from him. No weapons were, however, found in his possession.
Certain media reports quote sources as saying that the Pakistani soldier has told the interrogators that he had defected to India to seek asylum since there was a lack of basic amenities in Pakistan.
