Bhubaneswar -  A 10-year-old girl was killed and four others, including her father, were critically injured after a portion of a boundary wall of a railway station collapsed Monday in Odisha, police said.

The girl was going to the school along with her father on a motorbike when the boundary wall of the Khurdha railway station at Jatani, about 18 km from here, collapsed on them.

The girl died at the spot, while her father and three other children, who too were on their way to the school, sustained injuries, police inspector Kishor Kumar Panighrahi told IANS.

Train services were hit at the railway station as residents squatted on the track demanding a compensation of Rs.10 lakh for the family of the killed girl, added Kumar.
