New Delhi, (IANS) With a clear sky and no rain, the national capital recorded a maximum temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius, four degrees below normal, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said Wednesday.
"Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius which was four degrees below normal for this time of the year," IMD official said.
On Tuesday the maximum temperature plummeted 14 notches at 26.9 degrees Celsius.
Delhi Wednesday recorded a minimum temperature of 22.2 degrees Celsius, six degrees below normal.
The met department forecast clear skies and rise in temperature for Thursday.
"Delhi can expect the maximum temperature on Thursday to hover around 38 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature at 25 degrees Celsius"," IMD official said.
According to IMD, no rain is expected in the coming days.
