The right dance moves for men to attract women revealed

London(ANI): Which dancing moves you should show off to get a way with the ladies and which ones you shouldn't have been revealed in a new study.

"When you go out to clubs people have an intuitive understanding of what makes a good and bad dancer," the BBC quoted Dr Nick Neave at Northumbria University, UK.

Neave went on to say that movements associated with good dancing might be indicative of good health and reproductive potential.

"We found that (women paid more attention to) the core body region: the torso, the neck, the head," said Neave.

In fact, women ignored expressive gestures the hands make, as well as the arms and legs.

Movements that went down terribly were twitchy and repetitive - so called "Dad dancing".

Neave added that humans display dancing as a means to attract the opposite sex, similar to animals.

"In animals, the male has to be in good physical quality to carry out these movements. We think the same is happening in humans and certainly the guys that can put these movements together are going to be young and fit and healthy," he said.

Their findings are published in the Royal Society journal Biology Letters.
