New Delhi - The CBI Thursday conducted raids on the offices of four firms that had dealings with the 2010 Commonwealth Games and also filed another police complaint against the Organising Committee in connection with inflated prices at which sports equipment were bought.

The raids were conducted on 10 places in the capital and its suburbs.

The searches and the First Information Report (FIR) came a day after Commonwealth Games Organising Committee chief Suresh Kalmadi was interrogated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

According to sources, the CBI is also conducting searches at the residence of former Commonwealth Games Organising Committee Director General V.K. Verma, a key aide of Kalmadi.
