In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
London, Jan 30 (ANI): A footballer is facing his second life ban from the pitch after collecting record four red cards in one match.
Striker Ricky Broadley, 29, got his first red for stamping on an opponent and second for then arguing with referee John Owen.
The third came when he doused him with water and fourth for threatening him in the clubhouse later.
The player, from Bangor, north Wales, was playing for Mountain Rangers in a cup game against Penrhyndeudraeth when a scuffle broke out in the 64th minute.
As a result, he will appear before a North Wales Coast Football Association disciplinary panel, which could stop him playing, the Daily Star reports.
He has already been banned for life from Sunday league football. Broadley insists he was falsely accused of misbehaviour.
He said: "A fight broke out and I went to stop it. There was a mass brawl and I walked off. The ref gave me a red card. I said a few things I shouldn't have in my temper."
But referee John Owen, 52, who sent four players off, said: "It was absolutely horrific. What an idiot." (ANI)
