London - British boxing ace Amir Khan is on a collision course with legendary unbeaten American Floyd Mayweather jnr next May.
According to the Daily Express, the Khan-Mayweather super-bout is certain to happen if both fighters win their next bouts, and it could take place at London’s Wembley stadium.
Khan will face the first fighter to beat Ricky Hatton if he overcomes the winner of the Erik Morales-Lucas Matthysse WBC world light- welterweight title clash, scheduled for September 17 in Las Vegas.
If Khan beats Morales or Matthysse, the stage is set for a massive May showdown with Mayweather, who takes on Victor Ortiz, on the same September 17 bill.
