Brit boxer Amir Khan invited to celebrate Eid with Hillary Clinton

London - British boxing ace Amir Khan will meet United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, a three-day Muslim festival that marks the end of Ramadan.

According to the Daily Mirror, Khan is going on a pilgrimage to Mecca, but will then fly to Washington to join an invited group of influential Muslims at the White House.

The 24-year-old said that he was surprised to be asked, but added: “I am looking forward to it because she is such a powerful woman.”
