Paes-Bhupathi shock World No.1 Bryans in CincinnatiCincinnati (Ohio) - India's Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi rallied from a set and a break down to shock defending champions and top seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan of the US 1-6, 7-6(2), 10-7 in the semifinals of the Western & Southern Open tennis championship.

The Bryans ran away with the first set in 21 minutes and were up an early break in the second before the third-seeded Indians clawed back to break the Americans in the sixth game and forced the tie-breaker. The Indians took an early lead in the tie-break and closed it out comfortably.

In the match tie-break, Paes and Bhupathi won six of their eight service points despite only hitting 38 percent of their first serves in and sealed the win on their second match point after an hour-and-22-minute battle.

It was the Indians' first win in three meetings against the Bryans this season, after losing to the World No. 1 twins in the Australian Open and AEGON Championships finals.

In the final, Bhupathi and Paes face Frances' Michael Llodra and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia. The fourth seeds battled past Juan Sebastian Cabal and Florian Mayer 4-6, 6-3, 10-4 to reach their third straight final.

The Indians won here in 2001 and will be looking to win their third title of the season.
