Seemingly unfazed at being ousted from the Asian Athletics Association, scam-tainted Suresh Kalmadi on Monday said losing the presidential re-election bid to Qatar’s Dahlan Jumaan Al-Hamad has actually given him a chance to work at the “grassroots” level.
“I have no issues today and I congratulate Mr Al-Hamad for being elected as President. I am rather relieved that I will be able to work at the grassroots level in athletics,” Mr. Kalmadi said after losing the vote during the ongoing AAA Congress in Pune.

London - It seems that Kris Humphries has left behind all the bitter memories of his split with reality TV star Kim Kardashian, as he looked happy and relaxed while arriving to celebrate his 27th birthday.

The NBA star appeared in very good spirits when he stepped out of a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce on Saturday night in New York’s Meatpacking District.

Humphries, who was sporting black jeans; a black and white sweater paired with a blue leather jacket and Louis Vuitton trainers, smiled as he walked into Abe ‘n’ Arthur’s restaurant, the Daily Mail reported.

Things have recently started looking up for the New York Knicks player.

Before setting out for the celebration, Humphries savoured his team’s 99-92 victory over the New Jersey Nets.

The star player had received a series of boos once again, but he brushed them off and got on with the game.

Humphries ultimately turned in an amazing 20-point, 12-rebound performance.
