I would never shave my hair, says Michael Phelps

Washington - Despite his hair being exposed to detrimental effects of chlorine, Michael Phelps has revealed that he would never shave off his head.

Even though his dry scalp issues do make him feel ‘dead at times’, the star swimmer insisted that he could never imagine himself bald.

“I would never shave my hair, zero shot,” the People magazine quoted him as saying.

“If it falls out then it falls out. But I could never actually take a razor to my head and BIC it. I just couldn’t imagine it. I couldn’t see myself without hair,” he added.

The 26-year-old is presently the face of the Head ‘n’ Shoulders “Wash in Confidence” campaign, designed to boost self-esteem through healthy hair.
