Madrid - Second placed Barcelona will look to close the 10-point gap with Real Madrid when they visit Sevilla Saturday in the 27th round of the Spanish Primera Liga.
Sevilla are the only side to have taken points of Barcelona in the Camp Nou Stadium this campaign but are currently struggling for form down in 12th place and club President Jose Maria del Nido publicly criticized his squad this week.
Meanwhile in Barcelona, the uncertainty over the future of coach Pep Guardiola continues as he has still not signed a new contract, Xinhua reported.
Real Madrid entertain fourth placed Malaga Sunday, confident in the knowledge they have already beaten their rivals comfortably in league and cup this season. The game is likely to see Karim Benzema start in attack for Madrid.
Third placed Valencia visit Athletic Club Bilbao Sunday in a match between two sides who have ambitions of qualifying for the Champions League next season, while Osasuna could also move into the top four when they travel to play bottom of the table Zaragoza Saturday.
Meanwhile fifth placed Levante entertain Villarreal, who are in desperate need of points as they stand just one place above the relegation zone after losing their last two matches.
