Seemingly unfazed at being ousted from the Asian Athletics Association, scam-tainted Suresh Kalmadi on Monday said losing the presidential re-election bid to Qatars Dahlan Jumaan Al-Hamad has actually given him a chance to work at the grassroots level.
I have no issues today and I congratulate Mr Al-Hamad for being elected as President. I am rather relieved that I will be able to work at the grassroots level in athletics, Mr. Kalmadi said after losing the vote during the ongoing AAA Congress in Pune.

Lewis Hamilton could bag role in F1 movieLondon - Lewis Hamilton has been considered for a role in Ron Howard’s latest movie about battles between Formula 1 drivers.

The Oscar-winning director wants to give the 27-year-old a part in ‘Rush’ after he was impressed by the McLaren driver’s work as a consultant in the film.

“Lewis is great. The most impressive thing about him is that he came from a humble background and climbed to the top of his game,” the Sun quoted Howard as saying.

“I had a long chat with him while starting work on the film, he was basically a consultant.

“I don’t know if he would go for it. There should be a role for him, if he wanted it,” he added.

Howard’s movie focuses on the rows between former Austrian F1 ace Niki Lauda, played by Daniel Bruhl, and the late British driver James Hunt, played by Chris Hemsworth.
