Seemingly unfazed at being ousted from the Asian Athletics Association, scam-tainted Suresh Kalmadi on Monday said losing the presidential re-election bid to Qatar’s Dahlan Jumaan Al-Hamad has actually given him a chance to work at the “grassroots” level.
“I have no issues today and I congratulate Mr Al-Hamad for being elected as President. I am rather relieved that I will be able to work at the grassroots level in athletics,” Mr. Kalmadi said after losing the vote during the ongoing AAA Congress in Pune.

Kris Humphries `not accepting` generous settlement from Kim KardashianWashington -  Kim Kardashian has reportedly offered estranged husband Kris Humphries a ‘generous’ divorce settlement, although the NBA star is said to be reluctant to sign.

The 31-year-old reality star, who filed to terminate the marriage after just 72 days in October, is said to have put forward a figure in a bid to bring their split to a close.

However, a new report claims that the 27-year-old basketball star and his legal team are holding out for 4.3million pounds and her offer comes in below that.

“Kris is dragging it out. Kim is ready to move on, but Kris is hoping that stretching it out will get him even more money,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling E! News.

‘‘There is a fair offer on the table, but he just won’t sign it.’’

Humphries had previously denied reports that he is demanding 4.3million pounds in return for his silence.

“No demands have been made. While we are encouraged to see an apparent willingness by the other side to put big numbers out in an attempt to settle Mr. Humphries’ claims, we respect  and will continue to observe the integrity of the legal process,” a statement from his lawyers to Life ‘n’ Style magazine read.

“One thing is certain: Kris Humphries intends to set the record straight,” it added.
