In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
Bangalore - Pune FC showed character as they rallied to beat Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) 6-4 in an I-League match Tuesday.
Down by a Rohit Chand goal in the first minute, Pune came back strongly to take a 4-1 lead by the interval.
But HAL, spurred on by Rohit, who went on to score a hat-trick, came back strongly in the second half as they matched Pune FC for pace and counter-attacked with purpose. But a stubborn Pune FC defence managed to hold on.
With the victory, Pune FC moved to the second spot in the league table with 42 points from 23 matches while HAL who became the first team to be relegated from the present edition of the I-League stay on 8 points from 23 matches.
