Chennai - Kings XI Punjab defeated title-holders Chennai Super Kings by seven runs in a thrilling finish in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here Saturday.

Chasing a target of 157, Super Kings could make only 149 for eight in 20 overs.
