Kashyap loses in Indonesia Open semis

Jakarta - India's Parupalli Kashyap lost to local hope Simon Santoso 15-21, 12-21 in men's singles semi-finals of the Indonesia Open Super Series Premier badminton event here Saturday.

Kashyap could not put much fight against the World No.9, losing in 46 minutes.

The 26th ranked Indian had beaten top seed and World No. 3 Chen Long of China en route to the last four.
