Mike Tyson rants about sex with prostitutes when asked about vegan diet

New York -  Mike Tyson has revealed that he turned vegan because he got tired of sex with prostitutes.

The troubled boxing champ went off on a bizarre rant about his sex life, much to the surprise of the show host when asked why he turned to a vegan diet.

“I just threw up the white flag,” the New York Post quoted Tyson as telling on NBC’s “Today” show before he went off the food-and-sex rails.

“too many prison cells, too many jails, too many lawsuits, too many bankruptcies, too many women, too many venereal diseases, too many everything!

“I got tired … of every time my prostitute girl got back from a trip I had to sleep with her. I’m going to live a different life,” he said.

A laughing, apologetic 45-year-old champion admitted to being a frequent client of the world’s oldest profession.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he chuckled.

“I was a prostitute hunter,” he said.

Tyson, with the help of movie maven Spike Lee, is doing a weeklong run of ‘Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth’ on Broadway, between July 31 and Aug. 5 at the Longacre Theater.

The one-man show follows Tyson’s remarkably successful run in Las Vegas, enticing audiences with his raw, profane and entertainingly offensive introspection.

Tyson said that he and his wife were inspired to produce a one-man show, after driving along Interstate 15 in Las Vegas and seeing a billboard for Chazz Palminteri “A Bronx Tale.”

“Hun, I can do this,” Tyson said recalled telling his wife.

“What Mike’s going to do ... [is] the same courage he displayed in the ring,” Lee said.

“When you bear your soul, it’s captivating,” Lee added.
