China`s Yi Siling wins London Olympic Games` first gold medal

London - Yi Siling of China won the first gold medal of the 2012 London Olympic Games bagging a total of 502.9 points in the women`s 10m air rifle event here Saturday.

The 23-year-old world No 1 beat Polandâ€™s Sylwia Bogacka by 0.7 points at the Royal Artillery Barracks.
