In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
London - Twitter has suspended the account of a journalist in the UK, after he posted the email address of a NBC executive, following a row over the coverage of the London 2012 Olympics.
Guy Adams, bureau chief for The Independent in Los Angeles, had been a vocal critic of NBC after it chose not to air the Opening Ceremony live.
NBC, which has exclusive rights for the Olympics in the U.S., instead aired the extravagant show during prime time, which instigated Adams to call the network 'utter, utter b******s' on his Twitter page and encouraged his Twitter followers to email NBC's Olympics President Gary Zenkel with their complaints.
"The man responsible for NBC pretending the Olympics haven't started yet is Gary Zenkel. Tell him what u think! Email: Gary.zenkel@nbcuni.com," the Daily Mail quoted an enraged Adams, as tweeting.
Twitter, which is the official partner of NBC's Olympics coverage, responded by promptly shutting down Adams' account.
"It is a violation of the Twitter Rules to post the private and confidential information of others," a representative of the firm said.
Adams argued that the address he published was public and available to 'anyone with access to Google' and said that the network complained over his negative comments.
However, a NBC Sports spokesperson denied the accusation.
"We filed a complaint with Twitter because a user tweeted the personal information of one of our executives," he said.
