In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
London - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has hit out at claims that he stands to profit from the floating of some shares on the New York Stock Exchange, and said that he feels insulted by claims that his praise of club owners, the Glazer Family, is in lieu of personal gain.
"In regards to suggestions I have praised the Glazer family because I stand to financially benefit from the proposed Initial Public Offering, there is not a single grain of truth in this allegation," The Sun quoted Ferguson, as saying.
"I do not receive any payments, directly or indirectly, from the IPO. Ultimately, I run the football side of this club and in order to do this, you need backing from above," he added.
"The Glazer family have let me get on with my job, there is no interference or obstruction, only support," he said.
