New York - Ryan Lochte went out with pals on Sunday night in London and exhibited the same passion and determination he uses to win races in order to have a good time.

Piling into a cab with friends, the 28-year-old swimmer headed to the trendy Chinawhite nightclub, where he and other Olympians finally let loose after years of strict dieting and training.

For once, the Olympic athletes had a chance to let loose after years of tough training regimens.

Several hours later, Lochte and pals were photographed leaving the exclusive hangout where they enjoyed free-flowing champagne and cocktails for several hours, the New York Daily News reported.

Champagne flowed and Lochte’s teammate Tyler Clary played DJ at the West End club.

Lochte, who finished with two golds, two silvers and an bronze in the London Games, was joined by other young, toned and jubilant athletes, who have finished their competitions in London 2012.

“Sounds amazing in here, can’t wait to crank it up more and slap people in the face with some bass!!! :) seriously though, going to be epic,” deejay Clary tweeted as his 11pm to 3am set got going.

Lochte and his fellow Olympians were intent on celebrating as hard as they had trained.

“Alright guys, here we go!!! Be there or be lame. ;)” US swimmer Matt Grevers, who won gold in the 100m backstroke and 400m medley relay, wrote.

He attended the lavish bash with his fiance, Annie Chandler, along with US swimmers Cammile Adams and Nathan Adrian.

Chinawhite, a favorite celebrity haunt in Mayfair, is hosting 17 nights — from July 27 through August 12 — called The Last Lap to celebrate the Olympic athletes.

The guest list is made up of VIP guests and medal winners and the drinks list includes a “Golden Cocktail,” costing 2,012 pounds.

It is made of Hennessy Paradis Imperial Cognac and Luxur 24-carat gold-leaf champagne with a handmade set of 18-carat gold rings at the bottom of the glass and is randomly gifted to medal winners.

Sunday night, South African Chad le Clos was the lucky recipient of the indulgent highball, in celebration of his stunning win over Michael Phelps in the 200-meter butterfly.

Members of the Australian swimming team were also welcomed to Chinawhite with champagne bottles with sparklers coming out of the top.

Rebecca Adlington, the British swimmer who won two bronze medals, was seen swigging directly from bottles of booze and letting loose on the dance floor.
