London - Olympic champion Mo Farah is poised to be a “mentor†to the contestants on ‘The X Factor’s’ latest season.
Simon Cowell has been wooing the double gold medal winner to appear so the new series captures the “spirit†of London 2012.
According to a source, the top secret plan will see a special Olympics-themed spectacular when live X Factor rounds begin.
Fellow Team GB members will join Farah, who thrilled the nation by winning the 10,000 and 5,000 metres.
“Teaming up with our athletes means they can offer training and pep talks,†the Sun quoted the source as saying.
“People like Mo know about dedication and hard work. It’s only right we invite them to help us shape our future pop stars,†the source added.
