New Delhi - Modern School, APJ School and Father Agnel School scored victories in the preliminary league matches of the inaugural Delhi Soccer Association's (DSA) Inter-school Girls Football Tournament at the DDA Netaji Subhash Sports Complex at Jasola here Saturday.
Modern School, Barakhamba Road, scored a 5-0 victory over Ryan International School, Noida. Dhwani Kitchu got Modern School off the mark in the ninth minute with Mehar Kochher making it 2-0 in another six minutes.
Dhwani struck again to increase the lead in the 19th minute. Kabya scored her first in the 32nd minute and Nikita completed the tally in the 34th minute.
Later, APJ School, Noida, won against Sanskriti School, Chanyakapuri, with Diksha scoring the lone goal.
In another match, Father Agnel School, Noida, defeated Amity International School, Noida, 3-0. Seema, Rabecca and Anushiya scored for the winners.
