Mahesh Bhupathi slams AITA on his 2-year ban India's tennis star Mahesh Bhupatiand partner Rohan Bopanna, who were banned by the AITA for two years slammed the tennis association on Tuesday.

Speaking to the mediapersons, Bhupathi said that AITA's president Anil Khanna has a problem with him because he has have managed to find out ways to do something for the sport.

He further said that they he is still does not have clear answers as to why they were banned.

The tennis ace stated that he has always tried to extend his hand to Anil so that they could work together for tennis in India, but with no avail.

Bhupathi said that Bopanna was upset about the whole issue and said " Rohan wanted to be here today (at press conference). But he has 8-10 years of tennis ahead. So I wanted him to be out of this. These (AITA) people can be very vindictive."

HE also accused Khanna for enjoying the rivalry between the two and said that the AITA president was using a 'Divide and Rule' poilicy.
