Petra Ecclestone looks `gloomy` on shopping spree

London - Petra Ecclestone looks miserable as she went out shopping with a friend in Beverly Hills on Monday.

The 23-year-old recently admitted that she felt lonely living in Los Angeles and it seems that the F1 heiress still isn't over those feelings of homesickness.

Even though she was joined by a female friend, Petra failed to raise a smile as she strolled along the streets of Los Angeles.

In a recent interview with Haute magazine, Petra revealed that she is rather lonely rattling around her huge 123-room Beverly Hills mansion with just her husband, James Stunt, and her dogs for company.

“The only part of London I miss are my family and friends. I don’t miss London the place, particularly, I just miss the people,” Petra had said.

“LA people are really friendly, but I don’t think at this age you can make good friends. I grew up with my friends in London and I’m so close to my family; that’s the part I miss. I mean, I have social friends, but I don’t consider them good friends. They aren’t the people I grew up with.”
