Ferguson hints at Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United

London, Mar 15(ANI): Manchester United Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted at a sensational return of 80 million pound winger Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford.
Ferguson has maintained his close bond with Ronaldo, who developed into one of the best players in the world under his guidance.
He also admitted being disappointed for Ronaldo after his Spanish club Real Madrid crashed out of the Champions League for the sixth consecutive season when they lost out to Lyon 2-1 on aggregate.
“Cristiano knows the value of Manchester United. That’s the thing. What the players have got here is protection. They come to training every day and there is nobody here to disturb them,” The Daily Express quoted Ferguson, as saying.
“I don’t think Real Madrid is an easy club to play for. There is a circus attached to it. There are often loads of fans and an intensive media always filming them. You would like to think that one day he will come back, but you never know.”
“I don’t think he will stay at Real Madrid for life or anything like that. There will be other challenges and he is that type of player who welcomes them,” he added.
Ferguson further highlighted his good relations with Ronaldo, and said: “I have a good bond with him. He is a good guy. I like Cristiano, he is as straight as a dye, a good personality, a good feller.” He also knows that Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, was keen on the player staying back with United, but the pull of his boyhood favourite side was too much last summer.
