Hard man Rio Ferdinand goes soft, admits to being secret McFly fan

London (ANI) - Manchester United football star Rio Ferdinand has ruined his hard man image by admitting he is a secret McFly fan.

According to The Sun, the England football captain posted a snap of himself singing along to the boyband’s hit Star Girl on his Twitter page.

Rio, 31, went online to share the photo with pal Chris Moyles, 36, to prove he was joining in with his "McFly Day" feature on his Radio 1 breakfast show.

The football softie wrote: "McFly me up!"
