Johannesburg -South Africa's new Test, One-Day International and Twenty20 kits for the 2012-13 season have been unveiled, and these will be worn and used during the series against England next month.
The designs of all three shirts have some special features, which give the product a brand new appeal.
The Test kit is brilliant white with a stand-up collar for UV protection. The sponsor added an African-style cream print on the inside of the collar, so it is visible when the players wear their collars up during play.
Jacques Faul, the Chief Executive Officer of Cricket South Africa, said the design of the new kits is very South African, and something that makes the Proteas stand-out on the field of play.
"We love the new designs and the reaction of the players and the technical team has been fantastic. We are happy to be associated with a brand like adidas, which is very consistent on product quality. The English Tour kick-starts what we hope to be a good season for South African Cricket," Sports24 quoted Faul, as saying.
The one day international kit is principally green with a thin pin stripe down the garment to keep the kit clean and simple.
The T20 kit has changed the colour and style so that the public can easily differentiate the T20 from the ODI kits.
