Lily Allen unveils new cricket clubhouse

London -  Lily Allen has opened a cricket team clubhouse at Stroud Cricket Club.

Joined at the event by husband Sam Cooper, the mum-of-one covered up in a black dress with sheer sleeves, black tights and heels, and tied her dark locks up in a messy bun, the Sun reported.

The 27-year-old singer was supposed to be bringing a cricket team featuring Cooper and her famous actor dad Keith to take on Stroud, but the bad weather caused the match to be axed.

But she didn’t let the rain dampen her spirits, and kept smiling as she posed for snaps with fans.

After releasing her album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ in 2009, Allen said she had “no plans” for another album.

Then last year she tied the knot with Cooper and gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Ethel.

However, last month the “retired” singer tweeted that she was back in the studio with producer Greg Kurstin, raising fans’ hopes that she’s set to release new material.
