Islamabad - Australian High Commissioner Peter Hayward has said he would love to watch Australia playing in Pakistan.

"I will love to watch Australia team playing in Pakistan. We all know the security situation in Pakistan, so we can only hope the tour should happen in near future, as Cricket Australia decides about the tour plan," The Nation quoted Hayward, as saying.

"I have watched the Pakistan handicapped cricket team playing against Afghanistan and both the team were looking comfortable. The security situation in the capital is quite good and the atmosphere around here is electrifying as players and fans enjoyed every moment of wonderfully contested match," he said.

"I am deeply impressed by their spirit and passion. They have high skills, great application and have overcome all of their shortcomings through their wonderful exhibition of play and talent," he added.
