Karachi - Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Bari has handed over his charge of Director of Education and Anti-Corruption at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after an unfruitful wait of three weeks for his contract to be extended.
Bari, who has also served as the Chief Operating Officer of PCB during former Chairman Ijaz Butt's tenure, saw his current contract expire on June 30, 2012. The board only issued a routine letter on June 29 in this regard, reports The Express Tribune.
The former test cricketer handed over the charge after directives from the PCB headquarters.
