Lara Bingle dropped by shades sponsor

Wellington - Lara Bingle has been dropped by her sponsor ROC Eyewear three weeks after she tweeted a photo of herself in a pair of shades by designer Karen Walker.

The former fiancee of Australian cricketer Michael Clarke, whose reality TV show â€˜Being Lara Bingleâ€™ continues to lose viewers, was contracted to wear only ROC designs as part of the deal.

Bingleâ€™s parting of ways with the Australian label means she will no longer design and promote her own range of sunglasses, Stuff.co.nz reported.

ROC Eyewear company director Jason Blank said that the split was amicable.

â€œAfter two season ROC Eyewear and Lara Bingle have mutually agreed to part ways,â€ Blank told News Limited newspapers.
