PCB chairman Ashraf says BCCI yet to confirm schedule for bilateral series

Saturday - Oct 20, 2012, 02:53pm (GMT+5.5)

Islamabad - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hasn't sent the final schedule of the Pakistan-India bilateral series proposed to be held in December till date.

The series, which will comprise three one-day internationals and two Twenty20s, is the first in five years between the two neighbours, the Dawn reports.

The proposed series is to be played in December-January when England, who are due to tour India later this year, return home briefly for Christmas and New Year,

The archrivals have not played a series since Pakistan's tour of India in 2007, after cricket ties were broken following the 2008 terror attacks on Mumbai, and have only met in international tournaments since then.
