Afridi trying to lift Pak team's morale following 'spot-fixing' allegationsLondon(ANI) - Pakistan Twenty20 and one-day captain Shahid Afridi has said that he is looking forward to lift the morale of his squad following the allegations of 'spot-fixing' against three of the players.

"Myself and the coach are trying to keep morale high," The Daily Times quoted Afridi, as saying.

"It's always very difficult in these conditions against a good team, but they are all really focused. What has happened has gone. We are here to play good cricket. It's a big challenge for me personally - playing in English conditions is always difficult," he added.

The 30-year-old hopes that the remainder of the tour of England will help the players get over the stress of the past few days.

"It has been really difficult, but we can forget everything, get out, play the cricket and entertain the people," Afridi said.

Pakistan will play their first Twenty20 match against England on Sunday.
