London - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson belives that the next six weeks will make or break Manchester United’s 2011-12 Premier League season.
Fergie’s men are clinging to the coat-tails of Manchester City, but face Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Stoke, Ajax and Liverpool in a gruelling schedule between now and the beginning of March, reports the Daily Star.
The United boss said his side were about to embark on an “epic spell”, starting with tomorrow’s clash with the Gunners at the Emirates.
United are renowned for going up a gear in the second half of a season, and Ferguson said United will have to do the same again if they are to land a record 20th league title.
The Scot admits the next run of results will define the club’s campaign but is starting to welcome back injured stars and reckons if United have City in their sights in April, they will be in a position to strike.
