Madrid - FC Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola says he has still not made up his mind about extending his contract with the Spanish club.
Guardiola's current contract expires at the end of June but despite time running out, Guardiola is not certain about his future at Camp Nou, Xinhua reports.
"I have not made any decision about it, when I do reach a decision I will tell the club," said Guardiola in his press conference ahead of Sunday's La Liga game at home to Valencia.
"If it was just down to me, I would sign for five or six years, it is a personal question, not one for the club or the players. I know that I will not be better anywhere else, but I have to feel I can do the job. I can't work at a club that is as demanding as this one if I don't have the strength to do so."
"I am still not certain, so that is why I am not saying that my time has finished here or that I am going to sign a new deal. If the club set me a time limit, we will talk about it and then I will decide, but until then I will work day by day," continued Guardiola, who nevertheless admitted that he was working on planning his club's pre-season.
"People don't live on memories, but on the work that we carry out here every day," he added.
