London - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has the full backing of the club's hierarchy and no matter if they win a trophy this season or not, he will stay at the club for the next two years, an Arsenal source has revealed.
Wenger's contract expires in 2014, and he is still hoping for a top four finish this season, which would keep his record of never failing to lead Arsenal into the Champions League during his tenure intact.
"We are committed to Arsene and we expect him to see out his contract," The Mirror Football quoted an Arsenal source, as saying.
Wenger had earlier stated that he would consider his own future if he feels he isn't leading the Gunners in the right direction.
For now, Wenger wants to concentrate on acquiring a top four finish.
"We have what it takes at the club and we will add what it takes. But at the moment I believe we are not making plans for next season, we are making plans for the next game," he said.
