Seemingly unfazed at being ousted from the Asian Athletics Association, scam-tainted Suresh Kalmadi on Monday said losing the presidential re-election bid to Qatar’s Dahlan Jumaan Al-Hamad has actually given him a chance to work at the “grassroots” level.
“I have no issues today and I congratulate Mr Al-Hamad for being elected as President. I am rather relieved that I will be able to work at the grassroots level in athletics,” Mr. Kalmadi said after losing the vote during the ongoing AAA Congress in Pune.

London -  Mario Balotelli has denied claims that he is “arrogant” and over-confident, insisting that he is a “really private” person.

Balotelli, talking to the musician and City fan Noel Gallagher for a BBC interview, has been involved in a string of controversial incidents since joining the club in August 2010. Most recently,

he was fined after breaking a club curfew ahead of City's 2-0 win over Bolton.

“I don’t like when people talk about my business and my life. I am really private. I don’t like to talk, I like to listen,” the Mirror quoted him as telling Gallagher.

“Maybe people think I am arrogant, but that is just me.

“I don’t care, they can say what they want. But me, I’m a footballer so the most important moment is on Sunday on the pitch,” he added.
