London - Mario Balotelli has denied claims that he is “arrogant†and over-confident, insisting that he is a “really private†person.
Balotelli, talking to the musician and City fan Noel Gallagher for a BBC interview, has been involved in a string of controversial incidents since joining the club in August 2010. Most recently,
he was fined after breaking a club curfew ahead of City's 2-0 win over Bolton.
“I don’t like when people talk about my business and my life. I am really private. I don’t like to talk, I like to listen,†the Mirror quoted him as telling Gallagher.
“Maybe people think I am arrogant, but that is just me.
“I don’t care, they can say what they want. But me, I’m a footballer so the most important moment is on Sunday on the pitch,†he added.
