Seemingly unfazed at being ousted from the Asian Athletics Association, scam-tainted Suresh Kalmadi on Monday said losing the presidential re-election bid to Qatar’s Dahlan Jumaan Al-Hamad has actually given him a chance to work at the “grassroots” level.
“I have no issues today and I congratulate Mr Al-Hamad for being elected as President. I am rather relieved that I will be able to work at the grassroots level in athletics,” Mr. Kalmadi said after losing the vote during the ongoing AAA Congress in Pune.

Mario Balotelli called stranger home to teach him magic tricks

London - Mario Balotelli has revealed that he once invited a stranger to his house so he could learn magic from him.

The Manchester City striker made the revelations in a rare interview for BBC1 with former Oasis star and Man City fan Noel Gallagher.

“I was in Trafford Centre and he came, he just show me tricks,” the Mirror quoted Balotelli as telling Gallagher, while grinning like a schoolboy.

“So I took him alone and I say to him ‘listen I invite you to my house so you can teach me’ and he said OK,” he said.

However, after inviting the man to his house once, Balotelli has now lost interest and said that he only knows one trick.
