London - Bolton Wanderer star Fabrice Muamba says he can’t wait to get back on the field and has told friends he will play again.
“It would be great to play football again and I hope that will happen. I will play again,†the Daily Mirror quoted Fabrice, as saying.
The 24-yr-old footballer almost ‘died’ for 78 minutes after suffering a cardiac arrest during his team’s FA Cup match against the Spurs on March 17.
He has now been fitted with a mini defibrillator to protect him if he gets another cardiac attack. Doctors have warned him not to rush to the field again.
The devout Christian has revealed how he prayed to God to protect him just hours before he collapsed.
“I am walking proof of the power of prayer. I just felt myself falling through the air, then two thumps as my head hit the ground, then blackness, nothing. I was dead,†Fabrice revealed.
