Krakow locals looking forward to 'booze and good times' with England fans at Euros

Krakow - The Polish city of Krakow will host the England squad and their WAGs at this summer's European football championships, and the locals are happy and looking forward to booze-laden pub evenings with a barrage of England fans.

A local resident Agata Tokarska, who is a language student, believes there are lots of English football fans in Poland, and even if their country gets knocked out, they would be supporting the Three Lions.

"It's going to be one big party with us and the England fans. Everyone is very excited to see Rooney and the other players. England fans are like Poland fans - both like to have a drink and a good time," The Daily Star quoted Agata, as saying.

"If Poland gets knocked out, we'll be cheering for England and we'll all be in the pubs together. We're not interested in seeing the WAGs, it's the men we like!" she added/

Another resident Ania Zakecka said: I'm single, so hopefully I'll find a nice English guy, or maybe even an England player!"

If there's one place where England fans are certain to gather in Krakow, it's at the English Football Club bar.

Anna Szewczyk is the manager and she is thrilled at the prospect of meeting her heroes.

"We're really looking forward to everyone coming here for the football. We hope we will get a lot of English people coming to Krakow and make lots of money when England fans celebrate their wins," Anna said.

"We've got a lot of Polish supporters as there are big teams in England which are popular here, like Manchester United. We get a lot of Man United fans here," she added.
