London - Roberto Mancini has described Manchester City's winning of the Premier League after 44 years, as seeing something he has never seen before.
Hailing the 2011-12 season as 'crazy', as his side pipped Manchester United to the Premier League title with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Queens Park Rangers, Mancini said, "It was incredible they deserved this. To win it like this is incredible. I don't think I've ever seen a finale like this."
"We didn't deserve to lose, we had a lot of chances and we deserved to win the game and championship. It's fantastic for the club and the supporters after 44 years. It's been a crazy season and a crazy last minute," The Telegraph quoted Mancini, as saying.
Mancini claimed that five minutes before the game's ending, he had no cue that his team could win the match.
"Five minutes from the end, I didn't think we'd win this game. But we deserved to win this, and deserved to win the title. We were on top for 20 games," he said.
The Italian cited that it was very important for the club 'to start winning this championship' as 'Manchester City can have a big future now'.
