London - Kiev is home to the best looking girls in the world, and English fans taunted their Ukrainian rivals about it during their Tuesday’s clash in Euro 2012, with the song ‘You’re s*** but your birds are fit.’
Though the Ukrainian team proved to be pretty tough competitors in their narrow defeat to Roy Hodgson’s men, but the fans were spot on with their verdict on the nation’s women folk.
According to Traveler’s Digest, Kiev is home to the best looking girls in the world, the Sun reported.
As temperatures soared over 30°C dozens of bikini-clad Ukrainian girls frolicked in the clear water of Gidropark urban beach.
The scene resembled a Victoria’s Secret photoshoot. Gymnast Yana Burkova flew the flag for England-leaping about with a St George’s Cross.
“I don’t think England will win Euro 2012 but your fans are welcome here,†17-year-old student Anna Shmatko said.
“Many of us will be cheering on England now Ukraine are out,†20-year-old waitress Yula Boroda, said.
Brit footie fans also went on to say what to expect in the knock out stages.
“It’s amazing here. A big game coming up, stunning women, cheap beer. It’s a single footie fan’s dream,†32-year-old English fan Dave Williams added.
