London - Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen stepped out for their first outing in Liverpool with son Kai after returning from a romantic Los Angeles holiday.
The couple was spotted sharing carrying their son, passing him between each other throughout the day, the Daily Mail reported.
When the two-year-old boy was being hugged close by Man U ace, Coleen couldn’t resist asking her son for a cuddle.
The 26-year-old Littlewoods designer was casually dressed for the afternoon in a pair of jeans, a vest and a red snake-print scarf.
Coleen even ditched her trademark high heels for a pair of red and white Converse trainers.
Kai wore a striped hooded jumper and a pair of jeans while Wayne also opted for a dressed down look.
The family met with Coleen’s parents Tony and Colette at the Neighbourhood cafe in Liverpool.
After enjoying a meal together the family then said their goodbyes to her parents.
On the way home Kai visited the All Star Barber shop where he gets his hair cut but the shop had been closed for a break.
On her way back to the UK on Saturday Coleen had tweeted: “Bye Bye LA!!!! So excited to see my baby!!!!â€
It wasn’t just Coleen who appeared ecstatic to be reunited with Kai even Wayne was quite the doting dad.
The 26-year-old footballer had been seen scooping up his son, swinging him in the air and chasing him as part of a game.
