Audrey Hepburn inspired Coleen Rooney goes retro for photo shoot

London - Coleen Rooney, who seems to be inspired by icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor, has gone retro for a photo shoot.

Coleen, 26, and celebrity photographer of sixties Terry O’Neill have been recreating classic Littlewoods catalogue covers from the past eight decades to celebrate the brand’s 80th birthday.

O’Neill has shot the most beautiful, fashionable and famous people of the past 50 years.

 â€œIt’s surreal, to be photographed by him was an honour,” the Mirror quoted Coleen, as saying.
 
"My fashion icon is Audrey Hepburn so knowing that he’s photographed her was crazy.

“The 1980s picture is more me, so I think that is their favourite – it’s mine as well. I felt really stylish in the clothes.

"I love the whole look, it’s really relaxed but the make-up was dramatic and heavy, which I loved,” Coleen said.

Meanwhile the internationally renowned snapper, who has exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and photographed the Royal Family has become a big fan of his subject.

“It’s turned out to be exceptional,” he said.

“I’ve shot every top model of every period that’s going, and Coleen’s right up there among my favourites now,” he added.
