Tuesday February 2, 2010, Patna (NDTV) - As the war of words between Rahul Gandhi and the Shiv Sena over the Mumbai migrant issue continues, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said that every part of India belongs to every Indian.
He said he wasn't interested in what Bal and Uddhav Thackeray had to say and hit out at the Shiv Sena for its tirade against north Indians saying the National Security Guard (NSG) commandos who killed terrorists in 26/11 were from several states.
With this Rahul Gandhi joins the already heated political atmosphere of Mumbai for Marathi Manoos. The Sangh Parivar is already divided over the issue with the BJP going against its oldest ally Shiv Sena and backing the RSS.
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi's earlier comments on Shiv Sena, in the Sena mouthpiece Saamana, Uddhav Thakeray on Tuesday said Rahul's comments have insulted the martyrs of 26/11.
Speaking on the Bihar government, Rahul said that it has failed to implement the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA). He added that schools and hospitals do not work in Bihar.
